Overseas adventure...Part B. France!

Our first taste of France was experienced by staying at Aix en Provence. As this was our starting point, we found ourselves travelling near and far throughout the following seven days on tours and on foot.
One of the many highlights was our tour to Monaco, Monte Carlo, Nice and the most gorgeous village of Eze.
Modern city versus time immortal! Enjoy.....

   Beautiful Monaco!

Monte Carlo Casino. James Bond wasn't to be found but amazing cars were very prevalent!

        A popular variation four wheels.....

  Fragonard......smell the perfume!

    Magical, original street lighting.

Front steps to a beautiful, original stone villa.

Fascinating facades.

Travelling through Malta and Gozo I was continually stopped in my tracks by the beauty and unexpectedness of numerous doorways and building facades.

Whether through the use of paint, architecture, plant life or sheer imagination, these fascinating facades certainly caught my attention!

                        Ancient balcony at Mdina, Malta.

Window box with a difference, Malta.
A touch of red! Mdina Malta.
Navy blue for that regal, sophisticated look. Mdina Malta.
The door knockers on these solid doors were amazing!
A touching, reverant and simply joyous facade! Malta.
                             Knock, knock, knocking on..........! Malta

During my recent travels, I enjoyed many hours exploring the great outdoors. I walked many, many kilometres and traversed across impressive hills and rocky outcrops.

Enjoy the following snippets of outdoor Maltese beauty.....
