During my last trip to Paris and parts of England, I was so fortunate to step inside and immerse myself in the peace, tranquility, history and magnificence of a few Churches and chapels, some of which date back a few centuries!
Here are just a few captured moments......
Notre Dame, Paris
Sacre Coeur, Paris
Corpus Christi College Cambridge, England
St. Mary Magdalen's Chapel, Sandringham, England
Stained glass window in the above chapel.
Inside a solemn and serene chapel, Montremart, Pasris.

About Me
- Maryann
- I am very passionate about creating beautiful jewellery and art works in different mediums. I'm constantly evolving both in my designs and in my creativity. Jewellery designing and creating gives me a wonderful sense of achievement and satisfaction. Gardening gives me a physical and energetic satisfaction which I thoroughly enjoy also. These two pursuits are performed in between all the other day to day tasks, but usually special time is set aside when I really want to devote special energy to the creative process.Saying all this,I really do only what just comes naturally!

Paris....France.
And so we arrive in Paris!
My first glimpse of le tour Eiffel was quite an emotional one for me. Whilst walking along le pont Neuf I happened to look across the beautiful Seine and in the distance, caught sight of the beautiful and famous Eiffel Tower! I guess I couldn't really believe that I was actually, finally, in Paris!
We shopped and toured by day and got quite used to the Parisienne way of life. Oh to have all afternoon to sit outside one of the many cafes and watch the world go by.....
Our highlight of our time in Paris was the unique 6 course dinner on board a double decker bus enjoyed whilst travelling through Paris and seeing Paris by night! C'est magnifique!!!
First glimpse of the Eiffel Tower!
Locked in love on the Pont d'Artes
The magnificent Notre Dame where we attended an international Mass and heard the beautiful choir sing.
One of the amaziing statues in the Tuilleries Gardens.
Sunset over the Seine, Paris.
Au revoir Paris!!

Snapshot of Provence.....
Following my capture of the south of France and Provence, I've searched Etsy for a few Provincial treasures to share with you.
Enjoy!
Stone wall with blue shutters, Provence.
Bicycle outside a home in Provence.
Field of lavender beneath the lavender tree.

France....Provence, Aix en Provence, Cassis
Our French journey continues, this time spending several pleasant days in the south of France. With Aix en Provence as our central location, we toured beautiful Provence, Cassis and other spectacular localities.
I loved the frequent produce Markets, marvelled at the many lovely fountains of Aix, had my breath taken away by the sight of the Verdun Gorge, and sighed with calm disbelief at the tranquility and history of some of the villages of Provence.
Enjoy these snapshots!
Lovely fountain in Aix en Provence.
My first early morning produce market at Aix.
View of the Verdon Gorge from up high!
Rooftop glimpse at Moustiers-Ste-Marie
Found myself nestled in the narrowest of passages!
One of the earliest Roman bridges, Provence.
A furry friend peers down from its lofty window ledge, Aix.
